The Cheesecake Factory Giving Away 10,000 Free Slices of Cheesecake (And They'll Deliver)

In the sluggish world of casual dining, delivery has been one of the few bright spots. The analysis goes something like this: Millennials don’t feel like talking to people or leaving their homes, so restaurants are best off teaming with an online delivery service to maintain their business. Of course, one more major hurdle exists before a restaurant is off-and-running with delivery success: Customers need to know you deliver—which probably explains why The Cheesecake Factory is giving out 10,000 free slices of cheesecake with delivery orders later this week.

Today, The Cheesecake Factory announced its “Day of 10,000 Slices” offer—a promise to deliver 10,000 complimentary slice of cheesecake to customers who place an order (delivery only, no takeout) with the restaurant through DoorDash on this Wednesday, December 6. The company says there’s no minimum order required; all you have to do is enter the promo code “10000SLICES” at checkout and you’ll receive your free cheesecake slice up to $8.50 in value.

As an added bonus, for the week starting December 6 and ending on December 12, The Cheesecake Factory will also be fulfilling all delivery orders free of charge (no promo code needed), meaning you won’t even be paying a delivery fee on that free cheesecake slice.

“We are so pleased to partner with DoorDash to surprise and delight 10,000 of our loyal fans and guests by delivering a complimentary slice of cheesecake on December 6,” David Overton, Founder and CEO of The Cheesecake Factory said in a statement. “We hope they can enjoy a slice of their favorite cheesecake to celebrate the season of giving.”

According to the company, The Cheesecake Factory offers delivery through DoorDash “in more than 70 cities across the country, including Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and San Francisco.” To see if that includes your area, hit up thecheesecakefactory.com/delivery.
