The pop star stepped out in Los Angeles on April 16, and we're pretty sure if you put these most recent photos of her next to ones from her "Strong Enough" era in 1989, no one would be able to tell the two pictures were taken nearly 34 years apart.

While walking the red carpet at Hollywood's El Capitan Theatre for a special screening of Searchlight Pictures' historical drama Chevalier, "The Beat Goes On" songstress posed for the camera while wearing a casual, yet super chic, ensemble. The Oscar winner paired the cool look with her iconic voluminous locks, a style she debuted over three decades ago.

Her trendy fit–made up of a black and purple cropped leather zip-up, black wide-leg trousers and a slate gray cropped puffer jacket–helped the now 76-year-old blend in among the movie's stars.

Before heading into the venue to enjoy the viewing, images also showed Cher laughing it up with one of the film's cast members, Minnie Driver.

Alongside Driver, Chevalier also stars Lucy Boynton (as Marie Antoinette), Samara Weaving (as Marie-Josephine), Sian Clifford (as Madame de Genlis) and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (as Joseph Bologne, the titular Chevalier), among others.

Written by Stefani Robinson and directed by Stephen Williams, the movie's official synopsis reads: "Based on the true story of composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, the illegitimate son of an African slave and a French plantation owner, who rises to heights in French society as a composer before an ill-fated love affair."

Chevalier is set to release in theaters on Friday, April 21.
