'Dancing' star Cheryl Burke reveals how to stay active in style — and some of her quarantine obsessions

For over a decade, Cheryl Burke has been keeping us entertained at home, from TV shows like Dancing With The Stars and Dance Moms (and who can forget The Suite Life of Zack & Cody), to her candid memoir Dancing Lessons — and, this year, a new podcast with her most recent Dancing With The Stars partner, Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean.
But these days, when she’s not dancing, writing or podcasting, Burke’s been weathering quarantine just like the rest of us. She recently spoke to Yahoo Life about what’s been keeping her entertained. Scroll down for her top five picks.
Cheryl Burke x Bailey Blue - The Rumba
Wearing a mask is a simple and safe way to show your friends and neighbors you care—and a fun way to showcase your personal style.
“I actually had a passion for masks, about two, three years ago, before the pandemic,” the dancer says. She even helped create a glamorous new line of holiday masks with Bailey Blue. Wear your lipstick proudly, because each design sports a black inner lining to prevent makeup smears.

Skims Cotton Jersey Mock Neck Tank
At home and on the dance floor, Burke has certainly been “keeping up” with Kim Kardashian’s acclaimed shapewear line Skims, and loves this mock neck tank.
“The material is so amazing,” she notes. “I’ve been wearing a lot of Skims during rehearsal.” Wearable either as a layering piece or as its own top in warmer weather, Skims are perfect for every occasion, from a walk in the crisp winter chill to a mad-hot ballroom.

Bose QuietComfort 35 II Wireless Bluetooth Headphones
Whether you’re catching up on podcasts or listening to your favorite playlists, make sure you have the best headphones in the biz. The Bose QuietComfort headphones boast three levels of noise cancellation, and they’re even Alexa-enabled to allow for voice-controlled listening.
“I’ve been listening to so many podcasts and so much Audible,” the 36-year-old shares. “This definitely has saved my life during quarantine.”

Diamond Art Club The Daughter of Honor
In quarantine, it’s important to do things that don’t just pass the time, but feel productive, too. So if you’re looking to brighten up your living space, don’t just buy the art — make the art. Diamond Art Club guided art projects are fun, mess-free, and look stunning when completed.
Like Burke says, “If you’re stuck at home, why not do a little arts and crafts for the soul?”

Ziva Online
The pro dancer swears by the meditative teachings of Emily Fletcher.
“I was one to always be like, ‘There’s no way[...] I can’t do meditation, nor can I not have my phone in my hands,’” she says, but Burke found these lessons “life-changing”.
The 15-day online course offers 20 minutes of daily guided meditation, perfect for anyone who finds it hard to take time away from the hustle and bustle to focus on themselves.
