'Chicago Med' Actress Ties the Knot in Hometown Antique Shop
Chicago Med star Jessy Schram is officially a married woman!
The actress said "I Do" in a wedding ceremony held in her hometown of Chicago, Illinois, on June 18, where she and Sterling Taylor tied the knot inside a 60,000 square ft. vintage collectibles emporium.
“We were looking for a venue that felt unique and out of the ordinary," Schram told PEOPLE of the location choice. "One day we stumbled into an antique shop, that’s also a furniture salvage warehouse, and as we walked around, we felt the fun and the energy that it brought. It was quirky and different and still romantic.”
Schram—who portrays the character of Hannah Asher in the NBC medical drama series and has also previously appeared in Mad Men, Veronica Mars, and on the Hallmark channel—first met her husband in 2017 through a mutual friend.
On the celebratory occasion, the couple exchanged traditional and personal vows in front of their 113 guests—including several of Schram’s current and former co-stars—in a ceremony officiated by their pal and The Mummy actor Oded Fehr.
“We wanted a sense of adventure and community,” Jessy said, later noting how much of a dream come true getting married is for the pair. “It means taking that extra step as partners and co-pilots.”
She added: “That extra commitment mentally, physically; cosmically, to doing and creating life with someone. For us it’s a declaration, not only to ourselves, but with our community, that we choose each other.”

Following the occasion, the actress took to Instagram to share a few photos from the joyous event.
"Still on cloud 9, taking in every single moment of the joy explosion that was this weekend. I got to marry the man of my dreams while being surrounded by the most loving, supportive and epically fun family and friends. We are beyond grateful," she wrote in part.
Congratulations to the happy couple!
