Chick-fil-A to open first restaurant in Westchester

It's official. Chick-fil-A is opening at 2205 Central Park Ave. in Yonkers, in what formerly had been an HSBC bank.

It will be the company's first location in Westchester. There is no timetable for when it will open.

What is known is that the fast food eatery, popular for its fried chicken sandwiches, will feature dual drive-thru lanes and indoor and outdoor seating. The approval for the location was made Feb. 8 by the city’s planning board.
