Chiefs Legend Christian Okoye Has a Direct Message for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift isn't to blame for any fumbles made by Travis Kelce on the football field. Or, at least, that's how Kansas City Chiefs legend Christian Okoye feels about Hollywood's most talked about couple.
For those who may've missed it, after the Kansas City Chiefs lost to the Las Vegas Raiders on Christmas Day, some were looking to blame the "Cruel Summer" singer, with Skip Bayless bluntly calling her a "distraction."
However, Okoye didn't agree with the criticism, "Taylor Swift is not on the field."
Okoye further defended in his Dec. 31 interview with TMZ Sports. "Travis is playing like he always plays—teams are just doubling up on him now."
"She has nothing to do with how the team's doing right now," he noted point-blank.
To officially prove he's not a "Dad, Brad, or Chad," Okoye said of the constant Swelce attention: "NFL loves it. Everybody loves it. I love it. Taylor Swift fans love it. Chiefs fans love it."
And it's clear Okoye was right, as the Chiefs later nabbed a win on New Year's Eve, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals. The team even walked away with the AFC West division title.
So, it's no wonder Swift and Kelce were in high spirits as they celebrated New Year's Eve together with Patrick and Brittany Mahomes. In fact, Swift and Kelce beamed as they posed for a festive photo with the Mahomes duo.
The new couple, who started dating earlier this summer, haven't been shy about letting their "Love Story" play out in the public eye. During her Time cover story, Swift defended her frequent appearances at NFL games, noting, "I’m just there to support Travis. I have no awareness of if I’m being shown too much and pissing off a few dads, Brads, and Chads.”
