Chip and Joanna Gaines Expand Their Target Line In Case Your Registry Needed a ‘Fixer Upper’
Chip and Joanna Gaines are expanding their offerings for their swoon-worthy Target line, Hearth & Hand, and we’re so here for it. The husband-and-wife pair are now making it that much harder to decide what to put on your wedding registry, with more than 500 products for every room in your home, ranging from woven furniture to ceramic vases and dinnerware to bedding that will brighten up any bedroom. According to a press release, the pieces are inspired by a color palette that is heavily influenced by “watercolors, gradients, and ombres for spring.”
The collection, which will launch March 8, marks the start of Hearth & Hand with Magnolia’s in-store expansion, which means that there will be nearly twice as many products in stores, there to lift and turn over and experience in real life. Furniture pieces will be a fun new addition to Target stores nationwide, giving you a chance to test out chairs and benches before adding them to the registry.
“For us, this collection has always been about providing beautiful, functional pieces that people would feel confident and excited to make a part of their home,” Joanna Gaines said in a press release. “With this new expansion, we’re thrilled to be able to offer a wider range of products and styles within each seasonal collection, and to offer guests more opportunities to create spaces they love.”
Items offered in this new collection expansion include tabletop wood trays perfect for entertaining and spring floral arrangements that start at just $4.99. Shower curtains in warm, muted tones and new bedding patterns are also sure to be just the sort of tiny update that can bring a home’s look and feel to the next level.
Fun home decor items, like signs that read “Joy” and “Hello,” are also a part of the new collection, as well as glazed stoneware that will add a pop of color—hues of robin’s egg blue and an earthy blue-and-brown combination are standouts.
“From the moment we debuted Hearth & Hand with Magnolia in 2017, our guests fell in love with Chip and Joanna’s elegant, effortless style and Target’s accessible design and incredible value,” Cara Sylvester, Target senior vice president, Home, said in a release. “It’s been a wildly successful addition to Target’s strong owned brand portfolio, and we’re constantly refreshing the assortment and adding new categories, like bedding and furniture, to bring guests—and loyal Chip and Joanna fans—back for more.”
“Along the way, we’ve learned that our guests are especially inspired by shopping in-store, where they can touch and feel the products and envision the pieces in their own homes,” she continued. “That’s why we’re so excited to nearly double our in-store assortments this month, creating an even bolder, more inspiring destination for our guests—ultimately helping them bring cozy, comfortable vibes home.”
It was just last fall that the Gaines’ added rugs to their Target collection, exciting fans and home decor enthusiasts alike. Prior to going full-force into the home decor industry, the couple had made a name for themselves on HGTV’s hit series Fixer Upper, where they took homes in Waco, Texas, and reimagined them into rustic, farmhouse chic modern spaces. Back in 2017, Chip opened up to People magazine about how he and Joanna manage to keep their marriage thriving even as they’re working side-by-side building a business together too.
“Jo and I really have created boundaries to some extent,” he said at the time. “I am her biggest cheerleader when it comes to the things that she’s rocking and rolling in and vice versa in my category. Just encourage one another’s strengths and not be so particular that you constantly butt heads over it.”
