Chip and Joanna's Son Crew Just Showed Us the Absolute Best Way to Eat Birthday Cake
Chip and Joanna Gaines's youngest child, son Crew, turned two years old on Sunday, June 21.
The toddler rang in his birthday with one delicious-looking cake—and zero forks.
Look, Mom, no hands! Chip and Joanna Gaines's son Crew chose to forego his fork to take some big boy bites directly out of his birthday cake.
Crew's mom posted two photos of the adorable 2nd birthday celebration on her Instagram, jokingly captioning them, "Well that's one way to do it ??."
The first snapshot shows Crew methodically biting his way around the white frosted cake with his hands in the air. In the second photo, Crew grabs the cake with both hands and takes an even bigger bite — so cute!
Many fans agreed that Crew's method was obviously "the best way" to eat cake—or possibly even the only way.
"I mean is there any other way to eat cake!!" one fan wrote in the comments section.
"Should be done for every birthday no matter our age.?? #getitcrew," another commenter said.
"This is how we’re eating cake now ??," applauded a third fan.
The Gaines family had a lot to celebrate this past weekend. Joanna also shared a sweet appreciation post for Chip on Father's Day, which showed him playing a game in the backyard with his four oldest children, sons Drake, 15, and Duke, 11, and daughters Ella, 13, and Emmie, 10.
"He had just put on his pjs to rest on the couch when the kids came in and asked him to play outside... he got right up and forfeited his nap, and an hour later they are knee deep in a serious competition," Joanna captioned. "Thank you @chipgaines for never being too tired to play or take them to all the fun places, and never too busy to talk or lend an ear to your children. You are their hero and best friend ?? #happyfathersday."
Looks like another fun weekend in the books for the Gaines family! We love sharing in their their family celebrations—and we can't wait to eat our next cake Crew-style.
