Chipotle Renames Kansas City Location in Honor of Travis Kelce's Old Tweets

Chipotle; Travis Kelce

Fans have been having a blast unearthing Travis Kelce's old tweets, and now Chipotle is getting in on the fun.

The football star, 34, frequently misspelled the name of the Mexican-themed restaurant chain in some of his tweets from over a decade ago, which fans have been digging up from the vault in the midst of his whirlwind romance with Taylor Swift.

In a 2011 post, Kelce wrote, "Went from class to therapy, now I need some #chipolte and then I'm off to check out my new apt!!"

On Monday, Nov. 20, a Chipotle location in Kansas City actually changed the name on the front of the building to reflect Kelce's incorrect spelling of "Chipolte" to support him before he faced off against brother Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Kelce's version of "Chipolte," is located just minutes from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, where the Chiefs ended up losing to the Eagles 21-17 on Monday night.

How he spelled Chipotle is just one of the many reasons fans were delighted to unearth his wholesome old tweets, which also involved another spelling error when it came to tweeting about squirrels.

"I just gave a squirle [sic] a peice [sic] of bread and it straight smashed all of it!!!! I had no idea they ate bread like that!! Haha #crazy," the athlete wrote in April 2011.

In fact, the tweets written by a much younger Kelce provided such entertainment that Jimmy Fallon even made a song out of them.

During an episode of The Tonight Show last week, the host sang along with rapper Black Thought as they made a comical tune out of the hilarious posts.
