Chlo? Grace Moretz for Coach Is All Bright Florals and Cool-Girl Hair
This year is shaping up to be the year of the modern shag, and Chlo? Grace Moretz has become the latest to show off the new cool-girl cut in a series of fun, floral photographs from Coach‘s just-dropped spring 2017 ad campaign.
In the newly released images, shot by longtime Coach collaborator Steven Meisel and styled by Karl Templer, the 19-year-old actress sports oh-so-perfectly-windblown hair and a modern mix of tough and feminine pieces, including a colorful floral dress (trend alert) and a lace-adorned biker jacket worn over a sheer, printed skirt. Oh, and there are bags, too, of course. Coach’s Swagger, Edie, and Drifter bags are front and center in spring-ready shades of eye-catching pink, chalk white, and crisp sunshine yellow.
Lounging against a series of colorful vintage cars with the New York City skyline behind her, Moretz epitomizes edgy femininity and independence — which is why the brand was so keen to work with her. “Chlo? has a sense of optimism that is the perfect juxtaposition to the New York City backdrop, Coach’s home city,” Coach creative director Stuart Vevers explained in a press release excerpted by Teen Vogue. “Chlo?’s ease and effortlessness of style feels relevant and very Coach.”
Not to mention, very much an aesthetic that we’ll be trying to recreate in our closets, stat. (Calling all fans of the updated leather jacket.)
