The actor and his family had 'one of the most memorable trips' among the beautiful wildlife in Africa.

While Chris Hemsworth's career is built around him pretending to be a character in an entertaining story, his life emulated the excitement and beauty of film during a recent vacation to Kenya, a country on the east coast of Africa.

The 39-year-old shared some photos and videos on social media of the trip, captioning the post, "One of the most memorable trips to Kenya my family and I have ever had. Thank you to @africa.born @samstogdale @seandarnborough for taking care of us!"

In the first photo, Hemsworth and his wife, fellow actor Elsa Pataky, relax on the front of a safari-style vehicle as the sun sets behind them. One of their three children sits on the car behind them.

The rest of the photos show Pataky holding a small goat, Hemsworth holding their kid upside down and joking around, a wild lion, Hemsworth smiling in front of some camels, and another snap of the beautiful sunset.

The Instagram post also includes a couple of videos of the wildlife, with one showing a few elephants walking around while the other depicts a lion cub roaring (or yawning) next to its sibling.

According to the Instagram page for Africa Born, one of the accounts Hemsworth tagged in the post, it is "an African centric based company specialising in tailor made [sic] safaris and Indian Ocean adventures." Sam Stogdale is the co-founder of the company, while Sean Darnborough was likely their safari guide.
