Chris Rock Officially Signs on for ‘Fargo’ Season 4
Chris Rock is heading to Fargo, but he won’t be setting down roots in Minnesota, dontcha know?
FX announced at the Television Critics Association press tour today that the iconic actor and comedian will star in the fourth season of the acclaimed crime drama. But that’s not all: the storyline is also taking a dramatic shift down south.
The network revealed the plot of Fargo will travel to Kansas City, Missouri, where two crime families—one Italian and one African American—fight for power over the illicit world of drugs, crime and bribery. In an effort to create harmony, the heads of each family agree to raise one another’s eldest sons, don’t ask us why.
Rock plays one of these patriarchs and is forced to give up his firstborn son and raise his enemy’s child in turn. But when his nemesis dies after a routine surgery, everything changes. Assimilation, family and characters in over their heads will play key factors in the upcoming season, and we can’t wait to watch Rock put his serious pants on.
No premiere date or additional cast announcements have been made yet, but we want to watch this now.
