Chrissy Teigen calls out fan who dissed her new short haircut because it makes her face 'look huge'

Another Monday, another opportunity for someone to take a potshot at Chrissy Teigen’s appearance.

Exactly one week after an Emmys viewer speculated as to whether the cookbook author and mom of two was once again pregnant — a body-shaming suggestion she and her supporters quickly set straight — Teigen has been blessed with some unsolicited beauty advice from a fan.

The former model wore her hair in a short bob for Monday night’s appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, and the ’do just didn’t sit right with one viewer. Naturally, she felt compelled to tell Teigen this.

“You look beautiful but you should grow your hair long again,” she wrote in an Instagram comment. “Girls with round faces should not have short hair like that. It makes your face look huge. Been there….believe me….LONG HAIR.”

Fans jumped to Teigen’s defense, but it wasn’t long before she herself responded to the backhanded compliment.

“Honestly wow thank you because when I wake up each morning I wonder what [the commenter] would do and then I try to make her happy so this was a mistake on my part,” the Lip Sync Battle co-host shot back in a reply dripping with sarcasm.

Word to the wise: Just because Chrissy Teigen seems like someone who could be your best friend, doesn’t mean she is. Also: Not even the dearest of friends wants to be told that her face looks huge.
