We’re only a few hours into the New Year, but we already have our first meme of 2019. Last year, Mariah Carey took the honor when she demanded hot tea during her New Year’s Eve performance. But this year, the star of the show is none other than Chrissy Teigen.

Despite freezing cold temperatures and unrelenting rain, Teigen was part of NBC’s live New Year’s Eve festivities in Times Square with Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones. In an instantly iconic moment, when Teigen leaned in to hug Jones, the comedian’s umbrella poked the supermodel squarely in the eye. UM, OUCH.

Of course, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Teigen. Accidentally walking into a pointy umbrella spoke live on TV is so on brand for her. Despite how insanely painful that must have been, she played it off like a total pro by laughing through the moment. She managed to complete the hug—and didn’t even spill her champagne. What a champ.
