Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Donate $200,000 to Time’s Up in Honor of This Incredible Group of Women
Earlier this month, Chrissy Teigen came to gymnast McKayla Maroney’s aid as she faced legal fees for speaking out against disgraced doctor Larry Nassar. Today, Teigen and her husband, John Legend, made it possible for innumerable more women to have their voices heard.
The couple of 11 years donated $200,000 to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund on behalf of the “heroic gymnasts of the U.S.A. Gymnastics Team.” Teigen and Legend were inspired by the more than 150 women who accused the former U.S.Gymnastics doctor of assault and helped put him behind bars.
The Grammy-winning artist and his pregnant author wife are the latest to contribute to the meaningful legal defense fund.
