The singer reportedly revealed the news to a small concert crowd on Friday, Jan. 13.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have officially welcomed their new little babe to the world, according to People.

Legend reportedly revealed the news on stage at a private concert last night, Jan 13., where attendees quickly turned to social media to share the announcement.

He called it a "blessed day" as he shared that they had welcomed "the little baby this morning," noting that despite not getting a lot of sleep he felt "energized" after spending so much time at the hospital.

Teigan has been preparing for this day, as the news comes just two days after the cookbook author asked her fans for a bit of advice about waxing "down there" in an effort to "do the doctors a solid."

The singer-songwriter did not share the baby's name or gender with the crowd, but Teigen has said in the past that they generally leave the decision-making down to the wire, choosing a name just before being discharged.

Teigen first shared the news of her pregnancy in August, and was very open about the rounds of IVF it took to make it happen and the fear of something going wrong.

"The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again. 1 billion shots later (in the leg lately, as u can see!) we have another on the way," she wrote at the time.

"Every appointment I’ve said to myself, 'ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce' but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still. I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing. Ok phew it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!"

The newest family member joins big sister Luna, 6, and brother Miles, 4. The family also lost a son, Jack, in 2020 to a partial placental abruption, making the new addition a rainbow baby, or a baby born after suffering pregnancy loss.

So, congratulations are in order for this sweet family!
