Chrissy Teigen would like everyone to stop asking about her pregnancy
Chrissy Teigen‘s pregnancy is now in Week Please Cool It With the Unsolicited Comments.
The model, who is expecting her second child with husband John Legend, has expressed her annoyance with “fake concern” about her pregnancy.
On Wednesday the L.A.-based cookbook author announced her plans to attend City Harvest’s 35th Anniversary Gala in New York City. That, of course, would involve a cross-country flight, prompting one of her Twitter followers to question whether Teigen was too far into her pregnancy to fly. (For the record, most commercial airlines will allow women expecting a baby to fly up to the 36th week of their pregnancy, provided their doctor signs off. Those flying by private jet may not be subject to the same restrictions.)
But Teigen didn’t appreciate the prying. She shot back a sarcastic response, then elaborated on her frustration that people couldn’t “mind their own uteruses.”

She is referring to the fact I am pregnant and flying. Why can’t people mind their own uteruses? I have a doctor, I’m good, thanks for the fake concern!

But there was more to come. Later that evening, Teigen posted a photo of herself and Legend leaving the City Harvest event, where their auction item raised $2.2 million.

Some commenters fixated on her baby bump, posting remarks like, “Girl, I feel like you’ve been pregnant forever!!!!”
Teigen, who is also mom to 2-year-old daughter Luna, wasn’t having it.
“I love hearing about how you all feel like I’ve been pregnant for 20 months,” she replied in an Instagram comment. “By all means keep it coming. It’s great very kind thank u.”
Several fans cheered her on, slamming unhelpful comments designed to make an expectant mother feel self-conscious.
With luck, the gibes will be over soon. According to Teigen’s post, “it’s time to hide and get this baby ready for the world.” Can’t say we blame her.
