Chrissy Teigen Speaks After Heartbreaking Pregnancy Loss
Chrissy Teigen is breaking her silence on social media after the pregnancy loss of her son.
Chrissy revealed that she and husband John Legend lost their child earlier this month.
Chrissy Teigen is speaking out for the first time since the pregnancy loss of her and John Legend's son. She suffered the loss after being admitted to the hospital for severe bleeding. Since the tragedy, she has been understandably silent (except for a quick IG comment last week). John, on the other-hand, dedicated his 2020 Billboard Music Awards performance of "Never Break" to Chrissy and later honored her in a heartfelt post.
In her recent Instagram post, she included screenshots of John's tweets written to her and wrote, "We are quiet but we are okay. Love you all so much."
In John's posts, he explained why he wrote the song for his wife. "This is for Chrissy. I love and cherish you and our family so much. We’ve experienced the highest highs and lowest lows together," he explained. "Watching you carry our children has been so moving and humbling. I’m in awe of the strength you’ve shown through the most challenging moments. What an awesome gift it is to be able to bring life into the world. We’ve experienced the miracle, the power and joy of this gift, and now we’ve deeply felt its inherent fragility."
He continued, "I wrote this song because I have faith that as long as we walk this earth, we will hold each other’s hands through every tear, through every up and down, through every test. We promised each other this on our wedding day seven years ago, and every challenge we’ve faced has made that promise more powerful, more resilient. Our love will remain. We will never break."
Sending John and Chrissy's family so much love.
