Christina Anstead and Heather Rae Young Have Been Exchanging Quarantine Recipes
Christina Anstead revealed that she's friendly with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa's girlfriend, Heather Rae Young.
Christina and Tarek split in December 2016, but they've continued to work together on their hit HGTV series, Flip or Flop.
You might think it would be difficult to be friends with your ex's new girlfriend, but for Christina Anstead and Heather Rae Young, it seems to come naturally.
Christina recently told Us Weekly that she and Heather have bonded over their shared passion for eating “super healthy."
"We'll, like, text each other random recipes right now during isolation,” the Flip or Flop star shared, referring to the social distancing measures in place due to the coronavirus pandemic. “She’ll send me whatever her favorite go-to granola bar is, and I’ll text her back whatever mine is.”
"We’ll share margarita recipes with each other like a skinny watermelon, so yeah, it’s nice,” she added. “We all get along.”
Christina and Tarek have stayed on good terms since their divorce was finalized in January 2018. Not only are they co-parents to their two children, daughter Taylor, 9, and son Brayden, 4, but they're also still co-stars on their HGTV show Flip or Flop.
Both Christina and Tarek have found new loves since their split. While Tarek and Selling Sunset star Heather have been happily dating since last year, Christina got married in December 2018 to husband Ant Anstead, with whom she has a 7-month-old son, Hudson.
For what it's worth, Ant is also cool with Tarek. When a social media follower asked if it was weird that Christina and Tarek were still working together, Ant replied: "Not at all! What truly inspiring professionals they both are! Hats off to them."
That's one big happy, blended family!
