A snowstorm on Christmas day buried Erie, Pennsylvania in 34 inches of snow in under 24 hours, breaking the city's previous record of 20 inches back in 1956 for a single day's snowfall.
The snow hasn't stopped yet, either.
Several more feet of snow fell on Tuesday, bringing the total up to 58 inches, which is also the highest two-day snowfall in all of Pennsylvania, according to the National Weather Service.
The National Weather Service expects the snow to continue through Wednesday afternoon and has issued warnings for people to stay avoid travel if possible.
