Ciara, Camila Morrone and Pom Klementieff Named Nars’ New Brand Ambassadors
Nars is entering its brand ambassador era.
To mark its 30th anniversary, Shiseido-owned Nars has tapped Ciara, Pom Klementieff and Camila Morrone as ambassadors, a newish initiative for the brand, which has previously only dabbled in ambassador-ships in the Chinese market.

Wasting no time, the trio recently joined Nars founder Fran?ois Nars in Paris to shoot the campaign for its latest launch, Explicit Lipstick, which he named just as he does with every product. They’ll next meet again for the official launch in Paris in September.
“They’re all really, really lovely,” Nars said of the new ambassadors over the phone from his native South of France. “Even before they worked for us, they always bought a lot of Nars products. They’re very excited to work with the brand.”
“Nars’ unique character and personality are defining elements of the brand. For our 30th anniversary, we wanted to work with global ambassadors to embody this spirit, to reach more consumers in different ways and keep telling our brand story,” said Jennifer Jackson, senior vice president, global marketing and digital strategy at Nars.
Ciara launched her music career 20 years ago and has sold more than 23 million records worldwide. Her recent hit, “How We Roll,” topped the charts last summer. In 2023, she made her film debut as Nettie in the Oscar-nominated movie, “The Color Purple.”
Klementieff has built a film career with standout turns in “Oldboy” and “Ingrid Goes West.” She has most recently been seen on-screen in global film franchises like “Guardians of the Galaxy” and “Mission: Impossible.”
Morrone, meanwhile, starred in Amazon series, “Daisy Jones and the Six,” and received her first Emmy nomination in 2023.
“Each of the women we picked really have a distinct personality and their own identity that reaches different consumer segments,” Jackson said. “Ciara is a global icon. She’s had 20 years in the music industry, but is her own amazing character and personality. Her point of view and knowledge on beauty really made sense for us. Pom really embodies that rule breaking spirit of the Nars brand. She’s this blockbuster action star, but also really a unique person in how she embodies fashion and beauty too. It’s really this idea that you can have it all, and Pom really embodies that for us.
“And Cami with her timeless beauty and powerhouse presence on screen resonates with more of a fashion and luxury consumer, and we felt that we can partner with her as her career continues to evolve,” she continued. “It really allows us to reach a lot of different consumers that at the end of the day, we feel are very much Nars.”
The lipsticks, which come in 36 shades, feature a precision-tip bullet for a sculpted look, while ingredients include rosehip seed oil and hyaluronic acid.
