The nineties icon had her first of three daughters when she was still starring as Kelly Taylor.
By the time Jennie Garth was done playing Kelly Taylor on Beverly Hills, 90210—a show that immortalized her as a teen, even if it did extend well beyond the college years—she was mom to a toddler.
"I would bring my baby to work with me on the set of [the show], and that was just weird," she once recalled in interview. "That there was now a baby in our dressing room with us and just hanging out."
So when, exactly, did Garth have her first child? And did she go on to have more? Here's what we know about Jennie Garth's kids.

Jennie Garth shares three children, all daughters, with Twilight actor Peter Facinelli: Luca, Lola and Fiona. Luca was born in 1997 before the couple married in 2001; Lola was born in 2002, shortly after the couple's 2001 wedding; and Fiona completed the family in 2006.
“I had a whole camp set up … by my trailer with a fake yard, toys, a waterslide, and a baby pool," Garth once said of having her first daughter while she was still acting in 90210. "The set designers built a little picket fence around my Baby Land. I joke that I moved out of Beverly Hills into my little trailer park in the back.”

Nurse Jackie star Peter Facinelli is the father of Jennie Garth's children. The two had their first daughter, Luca, in 1997, tied the knot in 2001, and parted ways in 2012. The pair referenced their children in a joint statement announcing the split.
"While we have decided to end our marriage, we both share the same deep love and devotion to our children," the statement read in part. "We remain dedicated to raising our beautiful daughters together."
In a 2021 interview, Garth said, "Co-parenting can be very challenging. You have to really just continue to put the focus on the kids, and what's important for the kids, and take any emotion out of it. Their dad and I have been divorced for quite [some] time now, and time has passed, but you have to remember that divorce affects each of the kids differently."
She continued, "And a lot of people want to just say, 'Oh, they're fine, they're resilient, they'll be fine.' But I'm really a little more sensitive to the impact that it has had on each of them individually and how that will affect them as they grow into adults and parents of their own and a married person of their own."

"I love that I was a young mom," Garth has said. "I was always the youngest mom in the grade; I felt like I was one of the kids rather than one of the moms most of the time. But if I knew then what I know now, I would wait maybe, just to experience my life a little bit more and have a little bit more of my feet on the ground as far as just who I am. But I did things differently, and I learned who I was through my kids and with my kids, and I sort of grew up with them in a weird, probably pretty unhealthy way [laughs], but we're all good. We're all good."
