McDonald’s Announces Shamrock Shake Return On February 20, 2023

According to the official McDonald’s website, the company notes that the Shamrock Shake is made with “creamy vanilla soft serve, blended with Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with delicious whipped topping.” It lists the following ingredients; vanilla reduced fat ice cream, Shamrock Shake syrup and whipped light cream.

The McDonald’s Shamrock Shake has been a sought-after treat every March since its 1970 debut after Hal Rosen— a Connecticut McDonald’s owner— whipped up the idea for the mint-flavored milkshake in 1967. It is available in a small, medium or large size.
