Clinton Public Library announces open houses

Apr. 5—National Library Week is April 8-13. To celebrate, the library is hosting two open houses in its new Youth Department.

The first open house will be from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday, April 9. Grow Clinton will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Youth Dept. at 4 p.m. Cake will follow.

The second will be 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 13. Free doughnuts will be provided, while supplies last.

Also on Saturday, April 13, the Writers' Workshop will meet from 12:30-2 p.m.

Writers' Workshop will be held the second Saturday of the month unless otherwise noted.

Our monthly writers' workshop is intended to give you an allotted time and space to work on your creative ventures alongside other writers, and allow you the opportunity to receive feedback on your work

A Lego Build Challenge will run from 10-11 a.m. in the Youth Department. This event is for PreK-6th graders.
