The CLUE Mansion Is Being Renovated for the First Time Ever
You know the story: Mr. Bloody, the unlucky victim, has been found dead somewhere in the mansion and it’s up to you to figure out which of the suspects killed him, in which room, and with what weapon. Maybe it was Colonel Mustard in the library with a dagger, or Miss Scarlet in the dining room with a candlestick or, well, you get the idea.

This classic game has been around since its launch in 1949 and was invented by Anthony E. Pratt. CLUE is available in more than 30 countries around the world and keeps players coming back for more with 324 different plot possibilities to solve.
Now to celebrate the game’s long history of bringing friends and family together, it’s getting a new look for the first time. Hasbro has teamed up with Houzz, a home renovation and design platform, to give fans the choice on how The Hall in the famous Tudor Manor should be renovated.
“Our Classic games are known for their iconic elements being a fundamental part of game play, and our fans often want to be included in the creation process," says Chedney Rogers, Senior Director, Global Brand Strategy and Marketing for Hasbro. "This year we wanted to celebrate the 70th anniversary of CLUE by giving our fans the opportunity to vote on changing one of the rooms on the game board. This is the first time a room on the classic board will be updated and we can’t wait to see what the fans of CLUE will choose!”
Now through September 9, you can cast your vote on what you want the new game to feature in place of the old Hall: a bathroom, guest room, drawing room, or a newly designed and enlarged hall. The winning design will be announced on October 21, and you can pick up the new version of the board game starting in December (just in time for the holidays!).
