Move over Cher, cause there seems to be a brand new queen bee in the Beverly Hills. A brand new Clueless is happening and fans will get a chance to see Cher's BFF, Dionne, run things for once. The iconic BFF from the film will finally be in the spotlight as she becomes the number one girl at school and fans will certainly want to make sure they tune in to watch this series.

So wondering what exactly the Clueless reboot series will be about? Or who will be playing these iconic characters?

Here's everything you need to know about the Clueless Dionne series.

Is a Clueless reboot series actually happening?

Yep, we're being 100 percent serious about this. Variety was the first to report the news about the new show, which will be streaming on Peacock. However, it probably wouldn't fit a traditional reboot as it won't be following the original story or changing what happened in the original movie.

What will the Clueless reboot series be about?

Unlike the original film, Dionne is the main lead in this new story.

According to Variety, "The untitled comedy series is described a baby pink and bisexual blue-tinted, tiny sun-glasses wearing, oat milk latte and Adderall-fueled look at what happens when queen bee Cher disappears and her lifelong number two Dionne steps into Cher’s vacant Air Jordans. How does Dionne deal with the pressures of being the new most popular girl in school, while also unraveling the mystery of what happened to her best friend?"

So Cher won't be in the show?

Since it seems like Cher has gone missing in the series, it's safe to say that we won't be seeing her now. However, since this show has total Riverdale vibes and seems to follow Dionne as she tries to solve the mystery behind her disappearance, there's a good chance she might reappear at some point.

Has the cast been announced yet?

Casting hasn't been revealed yet and seems to be the next step for the series. With no release date announced yet, there's still plenty of time to find the perfect Dionne.
