On October 21, the Nestlé-owned brand unveiled its “biggest innovation yet”: a new collection of cold foams coming to stores in January 2025. And now, Coffee Mate, the trusted source of some of our favorite non-dairy coffee creamers, is helping you become your own barista. The new cold foams, inspired by top-selling flavors, bring that café-style topping to your home.
Here’s what’s hitting shelves in 2025:
Italian Sweet Crème Flavored Cold Foam: This classic cold foam adds just the right amount of sweetness to any beverage.
Nestle Toll House Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Flavored Cold Foam: It’s like dessert in your cup! This rich cold foam brings together semi-sweet chocolate and buttery brown sugar notes.
French Vanilla Flavored Cold Foam: The fan-favorite vanilla creamer you know and love is now available in cold foam form—deliciously versatile.
Coffee Mate isn’t just delivering on flavor—they’re making sure the quality is top-notch as well. The new cold foam cans feature a proprietary mess-free dispensing tip so your foam always comes out perfectly light and fluffy. On Sunday, February 9, you’ll be able to see Coffee Mate hit the world’s biggest stage to celebrate the launch of its cold foams.
As for now, details on the ad are top secret. But be sure to keep an eye out in the new year for a sneak peek at what the brand says is something “un-foam-gettable.”
What is cold foam?
For those who might be new to the cold foam game, it’s a light, frothy milk-based topping, usually served over iced coffee or cold brew. Made from aerating milk, it adds a rich, creamy texture without making your drink warm. And now with Coffee Mate’s new collection, you’ll be able to elevate your sip with minimal effort.
"With 1 in 5 coffee drinkers craving whipped topping on their beverages, and cold coffee on the rise, we couldn't think of a better way to introduce our most experimental product yet," said Daniel Jhung, President of Nestlé USA's Beverage Division in a press release.
When and where can you buy Coffee Mate cold foams?
Mark your calendars because Coffee Mate’s cold foam will be available at select retailers starting in January 2025. Prices may range from $4.68 and $5.49 (depending on the store), so these 14 fl. oz. cans will give you a good bang for your buck.
