Cole Sprouse Calls Out “Insane” Fans for Reporting Photos of Girlfriend Ari Fournier on Insta
So the other day, Cole Sprouse was minding his own business and decided to hop online and share an Instagram photo of his girlfriend, Ari Fournier. Simple! Casual! No bigs! But then the photo was removed after fans reported it for, uh, “violence and incitement.” Which, erm, what?
Cole hopped onto Instagram Stories to address what happened, and according to E! News, he posted a since-expired (or deleted) photo of the violation notice with the caption, “These kids are insane.”
The photo still hasn’t been restored to Cole’s account (Instagram, WYD?!), but his previous birthday shout-out to Ari remains up:
Cole seems well aware that many of his fans are in their feels about his relationship, and back in July, he shared some photos of Ari to Instagram Stories with the caption, “Time to piss off the 14yos again.”
Cole and Ari were first linked back in March, when Page Six spotted them cuddled up on a date in Vancouver. They’ve since become more serious and (obviously) public with their relationship. Ari even celebrated Cole’s birthday on Instagram last month, writing, “I’m very happy you were born ?? Happy birthday my love @colesprouse.”
Before Ari, Cole was in a long-term relationship with his Riverdale costar Lili Reinhart, and clearly, a lot of people still ship them. To the point where Cole is having his photos taken down, I guess! Here’s to hoping Insta restores this pic and prevents people from inaccurately flagging cute photos of Ari as “violence and incitement.”
