Columbia County to host ‘Boom! in the Park’ for July Fourth

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Columbia County announced its annual Fourth of July Celebration “Boom! in the Park” is set for Thursday, July 4 at Evans Towne Center park.

The event will feature food and beverage vendors, live music performances from Whiskey Run and Ryan Triotti and fireworks. People are allowed to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

In addition to the scheduled activities, Columbia County announced “this year’s event features a brand-new laser show specially designed for 2024.”

The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display.

Admission is free and gates open at 5 p.m.

Columbia County offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024 in observance of the holiday and will resume normal business hours on Friday, July 5, 2024. Columbia County libraries will also be closed for July Fourth.
