Community Arts of Elmira to host author & book illustrator showcase

ELMIRA, N.Y. (WETM) – Are you a local author or book illustrator looking to showcase your work?

Community Arts of Elmira is hosting a “Write-On 607” showcase event for area authors and illustrators this month, and applications to participate are due soon.

Domestic Violence Awareness Night coming to Dunn Field

The showcase will take place at Community Arts of Elmira on Saturday, July 27, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those who are chosen to participate in the showcase will have the opportunity to connect with each other and share their work with the community, as well as sell their books and receive publicity for their work.

If you’re interested in participating in the showcase, you can fill out an application online. All applications must be submitted by midnight on Friday, July 5.

Southern Tier STARQuest challenges you to visit libraries

All applicants will be notified whether they have been accepted or rejected for the showcase by July 7 at midnight. Those who are accepted will receive an email with additional event guidelines and logistics that same week.
