Concert, combined Vacation Bible School coming up at local churches

Richland County area churches have announced plans for a concert and a combined Vacation Bible School

GloryWay to perform in Shelby

The gospel trio GloryWay will make a return visit to perform at First Lutheran Church in Shelby at 6 p.m. Sunday.

GloryWay was founded in Mansfield in 2002. Throughout the years, GloryWay has become known around the country for their powerful harmonies and their inspiring music, traveling over 70,000 miles yearly to present the Gospel through their music. Lead singer Juston Crank is joined in ministry by tenor Bryan Langley and baritone Philip Kolb.

This concert is free and open to the public. A love offering will be collected for GloryWay.

Combined Vacation Bible School starts July 15

The community is invited to join First English Lutheran, Kingdom Grace Fellowship, Holy Trinity Lutheran, Shiloh Baptist and Oakland Lutheran for a combined Vacation Bible School (VBS) July 15-18.

It will take place at First English Lutheran, 53 Park Ave. West, Mansfield. Participants are asked to enter the door closest to Walnut Street. A light supper will be offered at 5 p.m. followed by the VBS. Adults are encouraged to bring their children and then stay for an adult Bible study led by Pastor Paul Lintern.

This is free and open to everyone.
