Conservation, food-centered festival promises family fun at Malabar Farm on June 29

Richland Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) is joining Malabar Farm State Park to co-host the fourth annual Family Fun on the Farm Festival noon 4 p.m. June 29. It's open to the public and admission is free.

The festival centers around the theme of where food comes from and conservation. It will be filled with hands-on activities like fishing and archery. Fishing is free for those who are 15 years old and younger. Free wagon ride will be offered as well as the opportunity to visit farm animals and hike the trails.

The Visitor Center has interactive displays about farming and conservation.

Food trucks and vendors will sell treats and beverages.
