This Controversial, Kardashian-Approved Fashion Trend Is All Over TikTok

It's no secret that pretty much anything the Kardashian-Jenner clan puts on their body eventually explodes into a full-on trend. Case in point: Remember when Kim started wearing cargo pants and suddenly, everyone wanted a pair? Well, I do, because I'm now (regrettably) an owner of army green cargos. And while some of the sisters' fashion choices are certainly more replicable than others (I personally can't say I'll be donning Kendall's iconic snow bunny bikini look any time soon), one recent trend to receive the coveted Kardashian stamp of approval has already managed to win over TikTok users for its wearability: a form-fitting catsuit.

Aside from delivering the most savage one-liners known to (wo)man, Kim and Kourtney are known for sharing high-fashion looks with their millions of Instagram fans. Though Kim has remained a notable catsuit-lover for years (her bright pink SNL Balenciaga moment practically stopped time), Kourtney has also slipped into the body-hugging trend on occasion. Most recently, the star posed for her 163 million Instagram followers wearing a $118 Skims strapless black catsuit paired with $350 Naked Wolfe platform boots.

Since it's not every day a Kardashian wears something the masses may actually be able to afford, it was no surprise catsuits started flooding my TikTok For You Page around the same time as Kourtney's post. While not everyone could get their hands on Kourtney's exact option (the black version of the Skims onesie is currently sold out in most sizes), TikTokers had no issue finding similar garments to replicate the feel and look of the Kardashian-loved trend.

What many users love about catsuits is just how versatile they are to style. On its own, a basic catsuit instantly creates a sexy look you can dress down with chunky sneakers for an effortless model-off-duty look, or dress up with heels for a night out. Like with any great trend, catsuits are not without their controversy. Plenty of TikTok commenters have voiced their resentment toward the body-hugging trend's growing popularity under the viral videos, but naysayers be damned! If there's anything the Kardashians have taught us (Kourtney specifically), it's to ignore the haters and *just live life.*
