Cool on Wheels: Ellie P's Mobile Ice Cream Parlor brings sweet treats to your doorstep

Newly opened Ellie P's Mobile Ice Cream Parlor is all about bringing the cool to you.

Owners Al and Sherry Diaz del Valle wanted to bring something different to the area.

“We wanted a different concept and wanted to offer what we felt like we didn't have around this area,”  Al  Diaz del Valle said. “We researched for about two years now, and had to do a lot of work, but finally received our bus around mid-April.”

Their mobile ice cream parlor has been open for a little more than a month now. The name of the mobile parlor comes from their granddaughter, Eliana Paige. Paige’s love for ice cream was a driving force for Al and Sherry Diaz del Valle

“When she sees the bus, she always says, ‘Look at my bus,’” Al  Diaz del Valle said. “She loves to go on the bus for her ice cream, and dances to the music that we play inside.”

Ellie P's Mobile Ice Cream Parlor is fully stocked, and comes with 11 ice cream flavors to choose from, as well as 13 toppings.

But what makes Ellie P's Mobile Ice Cream Parlor so unique, Sherry Diaz del Valle said, is the fact that their mobile ice cream parlor comes directly to you in their personalized bus.

“It’s the perfect dessert option for any birthday party, wedding or corporate event,” Sherry Diaz del Valle said. “We arrive fully stocked and ready to serve you and your guests with ice cream.”

What’s even sweeter: It's a different concept because you walk on the bus and order your ice cream and your toppings as if you were in an actual brick-and-mortar store.

Sherry Diaz del Valle said their mobile ice cream parlor could be hired for events and gatherings such as birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, and festivals. She said the best part of their parlor is that they enjoy meeting new people.

“We really love bringing the fun and excitement of an ice cream parlor directly to the guests,” Sherry Diaz del Valle said. “We've already done several birthday parties and weddings and really enjoyed these events."
