With lines going to just about every part of the city, Brooks wanted to capture the colors of each line in their wicked-awesome version of a Brooks favorite. On the heel, you’ll find the T’s map of the city. Also, a returning feature this year is a tribute to the port city’s famed food: lobster. You’ll find the crustaceans on various points of the shoe.

The streets of Boston are legendary for runners, but none are as famous as the right on Hereford and the left on Boylston that mark the final turns of the race. That’s what Asics wanted to capture for this year’s Boston-street-sign-themed shoe. Both shoes midsoles are covered in street signs, with the right representing Hereford and the left representing Boylston.
