Costco Brings Popular International Item to U.S. Food Courts
Costco is stirring things up at U.S. food courts by bringing in one of their most popular international items: the Mango Smoothie, which is already available in some U.S. states.
After appearing on food court menus in Australia and Mexico, Costco began testing the fruity confection in Hawaii, and now it's popping up on menus in more states on the West Coast, specifically California and Washington, according to All Recipes.
But even though the new menu item has garnered a fair amount of buzz, fans aren't totally sure it will live up to the hype.
One TikTok user has already gotten their hands on the sweet treat, and gave it a glowing review in a new video shared earlier this week.
"The Costco food court just got a mango smoothie. It's huge. It's delicious. It's $2.99," the account, under the name @costcohotfinds explained in their post. "It has four servings of fruit, no added sugar, additives, or preservatives. The first thing my son requested this morning was a Costco mango smoothie."

But not all of the reactions were so positive, as some users in the comments claimed to have a much different experience when they tried out the new smoothie flavor.
"It was horrible, couldn't finish it," one user wrote under the video, while another added, "My 3 year old said it tasted like dirt."
"Friend and I purchased last weekend. We both couldn't finish it; had bitter gross taste. Will not purchase again," another dissatisfied customer commented.
"I'm a Costco employee and believe me all of us were excited for this smoothie and were let down by it." another comment read, while someone else said it tasted "like an expired mango."
"I haven't heard anything good about these. Lol"
It looks like hopeful fans will just have to try the Mango Smoothie out for themselves!
