Costco Just Brought Back Its Dangerously Delicious Fall Bakery Item, and Shoppers are Overly Excited
There’s no better feeling than the first cool days of fall after a long summer. We still have a few weeks left before we can officially kick off the greatest season of the year, but that’s not stopping retailers everywhere from getting ahead of the curve. And now that Costco has officially brought back its fan-favorite Pumpkin Pie, we can consider this year's fall floodgates to be open.
Costco’s Pumpkin Pie is a seasonal staple amongst membership holders. It signifies the beginning of fall, and leaves behind such summer classics as the Orange Dreamsicle Cheesecake and the delicious Giant Sprinkle Cupcakes. Pumpkin pie on its own is already a classic American dessert that can be purchased just about anywhere during the fall season, however, Costco’s take on the devilishly tasty treat has earned itself quite the reputation over the years.

“Omg, my absolute favorite Costco deal,” one commenter exclaimed in response to a post shared to Instagram regarding the return of the fall-favorite treat. “Running to Costco,” another gleefully stated.
Those who have yet to sample this incredible seasonal offering can expect to find Costco’s Pumpkin Pie in the bakery department, retailing for just $5.99. Each pie is baked in-house and weighs about 3-pounds, 10-ounces. Costco’s signature flaky pie crust makes up the outer edges and base of the pie, while the inside is filled with the retailer's own homemade pumpkin recipe.
Any item worth making a return season after season is likely one of many not-so-hidden Costco gems. It’s one thing if pumpkin flavor just doesn’t do it for you. But if you’re a fan of pumpkin pie and have yet to sample this fan-favorite Costco offering, you’re definitely missing out on absolute autumn-flavored bliss. The season is only just getting started, but make sure to grab a pie this week before everyone else and their mother gets the same idea.
