Costco Shoppers are Calling This New Quick and Easy Dinner a 'Huge Win'
Costco
When Costco isn't busy selling out of fan-favorite items like this year’s coveted Lego Thanksgiving Centerpiece or inspiring creators to come up with new and improved food court hacks, the popular retail giant stays busy cooking up new items for shoppers to swoon over daily. Having a Costco membership not only grants you access to the plethora of warehouse specific products, it also puts you in a unique club full of dedicated Costco stans who can put you on game for the latest hot finds to look out for each week.

Anyone who regularly frequents the oversized aisles of any Costco warehouse knows just how much the retailer comes in handy with ready-made meals. Whether you need to make lunch in a pinch or just looking for a no-fuss dinner option, you can generally rely on Costco to provide. And after gaining some much deserved attention online, it looks like Costco’s Cannelloni with Butternut Squash is the latest ready-made meal to do just that.
Spotted by the one and only, Laura at Costco Hot Finds, the Cannelloni with Butternut Squash is a beautifully pre-made meal consisting of seven cannelloni, a gouda cream sauce, Italian sausages, butternut squash, spinach and a healthy topping of parmesan cheese. Each container is selling for $5.99 per pound and truly presents itself as the perfect last-minute lunch.

For those who are unsure of what cannelloni is, think long, cylindrical noodles which can be stuffed with other ingredients. Cannelloni is basically another form of lasagna, however soft and thin and “almost like a crepe," as Laura points out in her video.

“I liked it! Perfect fall flavors,” one satisfied Costco member exclaimed. Another person mentioned how they “had it for dinner this evening,” stating that their family of five all liked it, and event called the meal a “huge win.”
Of course though, not everyone shared the same glowing reviews of this tasty lunchtime alternative. One shopper chimed in to describe their distaste, causing another shopper to describe the meal as being “too salty,” and that the squash was “not a flavor that went well with cannelloni.”
In any case, the silver lining here is that Costco has a little something for everyone. And if the Cannelloni with Butternut Squash is not for you, you’ll likely have no problem finding an alternative.
If it is, however, then a quick bake in a 400°F preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, followed by another 10 to 15 minutes while covered with tin foil, will have you stuffing tasty cannelloni into your mouth with hardly any effort involved. Gotta love convenience.
