The Costco-Themed Birthday Party That Went Viral on TikTok

For her 28th birthday, TikTok creator Jasmine Pak took to the social media platform to share clips from her epic Costco-themed birthday party that channeled nearly every detail Costco members know and love about the big box retailer.
Serving her guests huge platters of beef hot dogs, bulk clamshells of Caesar salad, whole pizzas and rotisserie chickens, and other popular menu items from the Costco food court, Pak made the celebration about more than just herself. She event went as far as to label each dish with price tags that resemble the ones you would see as you shop in an actual Costco warehouse. Those iconic eats could also be found in her pool in giant inflatable floatie form.

And the dress code for this unique event? Of course, you know the guests wore outfits that further screamed Costco. Many of Pak's friends wore the classic employee uniform of a red apron and name tag, while Pak herself donned a crisp white t-shirt printed with the beloved $1.50 hot dog and fountain drink combo.

The TikTok video, which has garnered over 4.3 million views to date, leads with the caption "Things from my Costco-themed birthday party that just make sense," and Pak goes on to absolutely make her case. The video has become so popular, that it even grabbed the attention of the official Costco Instagram account, where commenters shared their thoughts on the unique idea.
"Okay how is no one talking about the genius way of serving birthday cake in [a] cup?!?" one person wrote. "I'd pay to celebrate my birthday at Costco," wrote another, while plenty of others tagged friends and family members to let them know that they're hoping for a similar extravaganza come their big day.

Pak's video shows how having your own Costco-themed birthday party can be a fun and different idea that will surely delight guests of all types.
