There’s plenty to look forward to during the holidays: Anthropologie’s monogram coffee mugs, gingerbread mansions, spending quality time with family — and a 14-pound ham?

While turkey gets most of the love during the season, ham comes in at a close second as the protein of choice. Most families choose one or the other, but if you’re lucky enough to have both, you might want to check your local Costco for a deal on a massive ham leg sure to last from Thanksgiving into the new year.

Weighing in at a hefty 14 pounds, the Noel Jamon Serrano bone-in ham leg recently made its return to Costco stores and fans of the Spanish delicacy couldn’t be more delighted. Simply made with two ingredients — pork and Mediterranean sea salt — the succulent protein is aged for a minimum of 12 months in the Pyrenees Mountains to ensure maximum flavor.

For just $109.99, shoppers will not only get a delicious ham, but also a stand and carving knife to make enjoying the popular tapa even easier. If you’ve got your calculator handy, that works out to $7.85 per pound, which is a steal considering similar options sell for almost double the price.

TikTok user @cariruth0829 professed her love for the seasonal find, saying she “normally gets it in-store” but opted to get it delivered this year. After sharing that her family “chews on it all throughout the season” and that she “loves making charcuterie boards” with the tender delicacy, the user cemented her fan status. “As long as Costco keeps selling it, I will keep buying it every year,” proclaimed the Tiktoker while cradling her prized ham.

While the ringing endorsement was enough to influence most users, some weren’t sold on the recommended storage method. “I love that you love this. For me though, counter meat that I’ve dragged to different parties for three months is not it,” commented one person. Another, who was concerned about the health effects of the prized possession said, “I need more information. Leaving ham out for a couple of months is fine?”

If you happen to be in the latter camp, rest assured that the cured meat is perfectly safe for consumption and if stored properly, the meaty delicacy will continue to develop in flavor for months to come.

Not one to leave anything on the table, Costco also offers an 18-month-aged Serrano ham as well as a 15.4-pound Iberico ham, which you can purchase directly through their website.
