Costco's Sweet New Treat Has Shoppers Going Wild
If it's been a while since your last visit to Costco, exercise caution the next time you walk through their magical garage doors. The bulk warehouse retailer has been jam-packed with goodies lately that are just waiting to distract you from your predetermined shopping list upon arrival. We’ve all been there, eager to try the latest new food court hack before setting out on the long journey that is browsing each and every oversized aisle in the warehouse. There is nothing wrong with our ways, though Costco is getting stronger.
Here to challenge your willpower and deal a serious blow to your diet, Costco has just dropped yet another Resse’s offering that stays true to the Hershey brand's motto: "There’s no wrong way to eat a Resse’s.”

Resse’s Frozen Fruit Banana Slices are here, and while most fans are understandably chomping at the bit for a taste, some are concerned with the list of ingredients that will certainly destroy this week's diet progress.
The 20-ounce bag of chocolate and peanut butter covered banana slices retails for a cool $10 and has stirred up quite the commotion online, especially within the controversial world of the Costco subreddit. Described by one user as “very delicious,” the flavor of the chocolatey treat has been said to “start off as a banana” and then the Reese’s “creeps up in the after taste.”

“They’ve been killing me with the Reese’s selection lately,” one commenter wrote in response to the post shared online. Another commenter jokingly pleaded, “Please for the love of God do not carry this anywhere near me.”
It’s true — Costco has been on one recently with the release of multiple Reese’s offerings including Reese’s Caramel Big Cups and Reese’s Dipped Animal Crackers. But those who are attempting to stick to the healthier side of their eating habits should be wary of the seemingly “healthy” offering from Resee’s.
With an ingredients list filled with plenty of undesirables, the latest Resee’s offering is not going to do any wonders for your diet. One subscriber to the Costco subreddit, however, did offer up a healthy homemade alternative: “Cut banana slices or chunks, put a bit of peanut butter on it, top with 1-3 chocolate chips and freeze on a cookie sheet.” And If there’s one thing in life for certain, its that “there is always money in the banana stand.”
