In honor of World Vegan Day on November 1, Oscar Mayer is challenging us to abstain from eating bacon for one day. Given that this can be quite the feat for bacon lovers, you might be asking, "Well, what's in it for me?" How about a lifetime supply of crispy, crunchy bacon?

That's right, anyone who joins Oscar Mayer's “BacOFF” challenge and pledges to give up bacon on World Vegan Day could be chosen to win a lifetime supply of bacon.

Oscar Mayer knows all too well that , or some people, giving up bacon for 24 hours is no walk in the park. So on November 1, they'll be censoring bacon by removing it from all their advertising and website content, and removing bacon from its social media.

“Deliciously tempting bacon, smoked with real wood smoke for 12 hours, can be tough for those who wish to give up meat,” said Anne Field, Head of North American Brand Communications, Oscar Mayer, Kraft Heinz Company. “That’s why we’re doing our part to celebrate World Vegan Day by removing the bacon-y temptation our advertising creates and rewarding those who make the tough choice to abstain from the irresistible. Don’t Bac-On, Bac-Off.”

To let Oscar Mayer know that you've pledged to give up bacon on World Vegan Day, and for your chance to win unlimited bacon, head to Oscar Mayer’s Facebook or Instagram "BacOFF" post. From there, leave a comment tagging two bacon lovers you know. You'll also need to include the hashtags #OscarMayerBacOff and #Sweepstakes.
