Soon, she will marry in “My Church.” Country singer Maren Morris is engaged to Ryan Hurd, she announced on Sunday, July 9.
The singer-songwriter, 27, took to Instagram to reveal the news, posting a photo of her brand her sparkler resting against a Corona. Morris simply captioned the slideshow, “‘Yes.’”
Other images from her post showed Morris laughing with her fiancé while tailgating. The gesture appeared to point to “Love In a Bar” that was written by Hurd about the couple’s romance.

Hurd took to Instagram to remember the engagement day—“7/3/17,” he wrote on Instagram—alongside a picturesque and peaceful photo of the two on a boat.

The two met in 2013, and started dating in December 2015. “We had been friends for only a couple of years, but there was always this writing chemistry in the room, and eventually, the timing of it was undeniable,” she told People. “We had such a foundation built off writing so many songs over the years that we were like, ‘Why are we avoiding this?’”
