This couple had the best photobomb in their proposal pic
One newly engaged Cincinnati couple already has their wedding witness. Earlier this month, Nick Kelble proposed to Hayley Roll at the Cincinnati Zoo, and their favorite hippo, Fiona, also decided to get involved.
“We went to the zoo for our one-year anniversary and Fiona was in the window,” Roll told the Daily Buzz. “Nick, my boyfriend and I were waiting in line to get our photo taken with Fiona and I gave my cell phone to someone to take the photo and when I turned back around, Nick was on one knee proposing.”

Judging by the photo, Fiona was just as excited about the proposal as the couple. “We are huge #TeamFiona fans and have been following her since she was born,” Roll explained. “We’re so happy Fiona could be there on our special day here’s to many more years of going to zoos with you,” she wrote on Instagram.
Nick and Hayley aren’t the first couple to get more than they bargained for in a very important picture. Last week, BuzzFeed writer Jesse McLaren pranked his sister by adding Pennywise, the clown from It, into every one of her engagement photos.
“My sister asked me to shoot her engagement pics so I hid Pennywise the Clown in every photo. Countdown until she notices,” he wrote on Twitter.

Fortunately, not all photobombs are this terrifying. Celebrities also have a habit of inserting themselves into proposals — like Amy Schumer, who stumbled upon an engagement photo shoot while jogging in Central Park and asked to get in the photos. Photographer Alisha Siegel explained how it all happened: “Out of nowhere I hear a girl scream, ‘Oh my God — are you guys taking engagement photos?! Let me get in one!’”
Celine Dion also ended up in the background of an engagement shoot when a man decided to propose in the meet and greet line after her Las Vegas show. Fortunately, the bride didn’t mind having Celine Dion’s shocked face in her proposal picture.
“When @celinedion is just as shocked as you are at your PROPOSAL!!!” she wrote.

Whether it’s a hippo or a pop star, photobombs are our favorite addition to any proposal story.
