Covington Nursery School to have Halloween run

Sep. 11—COVINGTON, Ind. — Covington Nursery School will hold it's annual Halloween 5K/10K walk/run on Oct. 26, at 9 a.m. This fundraiser will take place on the Covington Circle Trail. The course is an out and back starting and ending in the Covington City Park by the soccer field.

The event is a fun, yet competitive, chip-timed race. It is family friendly and encourages a healthy and active lifestyle for all ages, according to a news release. Costumes are encouraged.

The cost is $25 and $5 discounts for 65 and older, children 0-10 are free receiving no shirt, or $10 with a shirt. Paper registration forms are available by contacting the school on Facebook.

Covington Nursery School, a non-profit organization, has been providing early childhood education to 3 and 4 year olds since 1974. The school depends solely on low cost tuition and fundraisers.
