Crep Protect has released what it has dubbed its “secret weapon in the battle against lifeless leather.”
The sneaker care brand has expanded its product offering to now include Crep Protect Leather, a leather lotion, which is paired with a buffing cloth, to ensure sneakers remain supple and shiny.
In a statement, Crep Protect stated its leather lotion — which it said works for all types of leather, including synthetic and genuine — offers the sneakers deep nourishment, color revival and extended care that prevents cracks and creases. Also, Crep Protect said the product also incorporates its Magic Shield nanotechnology, which protects against liquids and stains. This formula, the company explained, offers UV protection, minimizing sunlight discoloration.
Crep Protect said there are four steps to use its leather lotion, starting with prep, making sure the sneakers are clean and dry before using the lotion. The company then recommends the user tests the leather lotion on a hidden area of the shoe. Next, Crep Protect stated the lotion should be applied in circular motions until the sneaker is saturated and then the lotion should be rubbed into the sneaker with the buffing cloth.
Crep Protect Leather is available now via Crepprotect.com and Amazon.com, and retails for $15.
