Dominique Ansel is taking his beloved New York City bakery to Las Vegas.

Ansel, a James Beard Award-winning pastry chef — and famous for the creation of the Cronut — will open a new location at Caesar's Palace on Oct. 21 complete with favorites from his east coast shop as well as new treats.

“We’re thrilled to open our newest shop at Caesars Palace and be back out West,” Ansel said to Travel + Leisure in a statement. “In addition to bringing some of our signatures from New York, I’m most excited to launch our newest creations for everyone. Like each of our shops around the world, we’ve developed a collection of pastries that will be exclusive to Las Vegas.”

The "Fortune Cookie" is part of the "Lucky 7". A sablé Breton base is topped with jasmine tea crémeux and lemon curd. A white chocolate "fortune" sticks out of the cookie, wishing luck in Las Vegas.

Aforementioned new creations will include a collection of pastries known as "Lucky 7" that include elderflower mascarpone mousse, a French éclair filled with cassis jam, and Valrhona Caramelia chocolates.

In addition to Ansel’s creations, the bakery will also offer familiar items like croissants, and pan au chocolate. There will also be a retail area and “café-style”  seating for up to 20.

This will be the second domestic location for the bakery, with the original standing in Manhattan's Soho neighborhood. Ansel also has a workshop in New York City and several locations of Dang Wen Li by Dominique Ansel, a capsule collection of exclusive treats in Hong Kong.
