Opening a bottle of wine is so last year. These days, it’s all about cracking open a can! Cupcake Vineyards is hopping onboard the convenience train with the release of canned wines.

The new cans will come in rosé, with watermelon and strawberry notes, and sauvignon blanc, with lemon and nectarine notes. Each can contains 375 milliliters of wine, aka a half-bottle’s worth. So, this summer, when you’re hopping from the beach to a concert, keep a few cans handy to make festivities even better.

The Cupcake cans became available at retailers nationwide on April 1. They have a suggested retail price of $5.99 each. Seem pricey? Remember that you get two glasses of wine in each can. I don’t know about you, but I trust this wine over most dive bars’ cheap glasses.

Cupcake Vineyards and Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival have been collaborating for years. So it only makes sense that for its fifth year, it would bring the cans to festival grounds and be the first-ever beverage in a can available at Coachella.

“Our cans are the perfect portable, shareable, and unbreakable solution to enjoying delicious wine outdoors, so there’s no better place than Coachella to show festivalgoers a new way to enjoy Cupcake wine,” Eben Gillette, vice president of marketing for Cupcake Vineyards, said in a press release.

If you’re not going to Coachella, open a can of Cupcake wine, turn up your favorite Ariana Grande song, and make your own party!
