Customers Just Named the Best Fast-Food Breakfast—And It's Not What You Expect

It's no secret that McDonald's is one of the most popular fast-food joints to grab breakfast from. On any given day of the week, the drive-thru line for the iconic restaurant is wrapped with most customers taking the risk of being late to work just to get their hands on a sausage biscuit, McMuffin or McGriddle. And with so many locations found worldwide, it's easy to think that customers would consider the infamous Golden Arches to boast the best breakfast of the lot. That, however, isn't quite the case this year as fast-food breakfast lovers have voted another chain as the most beloved of them all.

According to the 2023 installment of USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, southern-based breakfast joint Biscuitville now holds the top spot for best fast-food breakfast. The list, which was compiled by 10Best editors and experts, was reader-voted and was officially unveiled last week.

Beating out big chains like McDonald's, Chick-Fil-A and Wendy's — which came in second, fourth, and tenth place, respectively — the biscuit-led eatery serves up freshly baked biscuits in a number of delectably unique ways.
