The Cute Trader Joe’s Fall Find That’s Selling Out Quickly
Trader Joe's
It's finally officially fall, but if you're a pumpkin lover, you've probably been rolling in gourd since August when brand's like Starbucks began to release their fall menus. While other big name brands gave us autumn in August though, Trader Joe's did their big 1-2 in early September when they kicked off the highly anticipated Trader Joe's Pumpkin Palooza. And since then, they've been keeping us on pins and needles wondering what fall-related items are coming next.
Truthfully though, there's truly no shortage of pumpkin products at Trader Joe's. From pumpkin samosas to pumpkin cream cheese, it's possible to find something with the iconic fall flavor for any craving, meal or time of day.
However, Trader Joe's love of all things pumpkin doesn't stop at food, and the shoppers don't stop there either.
Reddit is ringing the alarm about the return of a hot seasonal find that puts a cool spin on fall plants (sorry, mums) and pumpkin picking.

"Loving the wee pumpkins I picked up Saturday," quipped u/Simple_Ad_3787 in the Trader Joe's subreddit. Sharing a snap of the Amazing Pumpkin Tree, a limited-edition fall snag that has developed a cult following since its 2019 release (and sells fast), other Redditors wasted no time weighing in on the find.
"Eye-catching," said one Redditor. "Wait… they’re real?! This is too cool," shared someone else.
The tree looks like a tabletop spruce you'd put out around the winter holidays. Yet, it's spooky-season-ready (though it's more in "sweet treat" territory than anything scary or tricky). In fact, the packaging even includes a note that reads, "The Amazing Pumpkin Tree — don't be afraid."
The original poster stored theirs in a large vase, artfully adorned with mini pumpkins. And if you're wondering, the Trader Joe's Pumpkin Tree includes five live stems from an eggplant (cool, right?). In other words, it's a real-deal plant that requires water. However, the decoration is not fussy. Simply cut the stems, place them in water, hang the tiny pumpkins like they're holiday tree ornaments and — voila — you have yourself an easy-peasy fall statement piece.
Previous years' appreciation threads for the seasonal decoration included comments like, "Cutest things ever" and "These make me so happy!" (That one was from 2020, so this comment truly carries weight.)
Of course, real pumpkins grow on vines in the ground, not trees. However, it's a fun concept. Money doesn't grow on it either, but you don't have to spend a pretty penny on the Trader Joe's Amazing Pumpkin Tree. It's $8.99.
